Home of the North Virginia Browncoats We are a multi-cultural group comprising all ages and sexes. Our standard monthly activity is a Nerd Lunch held the first Saturday of the month, but have small meetups held throughout the month. These small meetups can be a simple movie outing or a trip to a local gathering, ie. the Maryland Renaissance Festival, Comic Book shows, Sci-Fi conventions, etc. Come on out and make new friends and geek out over your favorite genre topic. We get together and explore the lectures, exhibits, plays and off beat activities of DC, while meeting new people. Our members tend to be in their mid twenties to mid-fifties, but all are welcome.
